India is the pharmaceutical hub of the world. With a commanding 20% share of total global pharmaceutical exports and a staggering 60% contribution to worldwide vaccine volume, the Indian pharmaceutical landscape brims with promise and potential. However, amidst this vibrant ecosystem, a crucial gap persists – students aspiring a job in this sector often find themselves limited to fragmented knowledge, with courses focusing narrowly on technical skill development only. Recognizing this need, we curated a pioneering Certificate Summer School Programme on Drug Discovery & Development.

Crafted by distinguished drug scientist and global health experts, this two-week intensive program transcends traditional education boundaries. It offers students a transformative journey through the entire drug discovery and development pipeline – from the meticulous selection of drug candidates to their eventual commercialization, taught by leading industrial experts from Dr. Reddy’s Lab and Sun Pharma, and renowned scientists from IIT-Delhi and IISER-Pune. More than just a curriculum, this program serves as a catalyst for skilling, holistic growth and industry readiness for success in the pharmaceutical domain.
